Philadelphia Marathon AACR Runners For Research - "Fight Club"

Last year due to your very generous support not only did I crush cancer reaserch fund raising goal, our Fight Club team crushed our team fundraising goal. This motivated us to again support ACCR in their fight against cancer. 

This November, I am again lacing up my running shoes to fight cancer through the power of movement and community. On November 22rd, I’ll be tackling my 14th marathon, running the Philadelphia Marathon alongside my “Fight Club” team of twelve dedicated runners, all in support of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) (https://www.aacr.org/). We’re running 26.2 miles to honor those touched by cancer—past, present, and future—and to fuel groundbreaking research that saves lives.

The AACR is in the fight against cancer. Based in Philadelphia with offices in Boston and Washington, D.C., they drive cutting-edge research, accelerate the spread of life-changing discoveries, and advance our understanding of cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Every step we take supports their mission to transform lives and bring us closer to a world without cancer.
