Philadelphia Marathon AACR Runners For Research - "Fight Club" - Round 2

On November 22, I’ll line up for my 14th marathon — the Philadelphia Marathon — with my Fight Club teammates, running as American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) (https://www.aacr.org/) Runners for Research. Last year, because of you, I crushed my personal fundraising goal and our team crushed its goal too. That support is why we’re back.

I lost two uncles to cancer. These miles are for not only them, others who lost their battle and for everyone still in the fight.

AACR is headquartered here in Philadelphia. They drive cutting-edge research, accelerate the spread of life-changing discoveries, and advance our understanding of cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Every step we take supports their mission to transform lives and bring us closer to a world without cancer. In the past 30 years, ACCR has awarded more than $551 million in grants to prevent and cure cancer. I’m running so that progress keeps going.

My fundraising goal is $750, and you can help me make a difference in this fight. By donating to our fundraiser, you’ll directly fund critical cancer research that brings hope to millions.

For every donation of $25 or more, I’ll proudly write  your name, or the name of a loved one to my race-day shirt, carrying your support with me through all 26.2 miles of Philadelphia.
