My Story…
Why do I run for the AACR?
Cancer is no longer a matter of if it will affect our lives, but when, how, and how often. Whether it is our own diagnosis or that of a family member, friend, or coworker, cancer will touch all of our lives at some point.
I have watched family and friends fight their battles courageously—some successfully, and others with courage and strength to the end. Their strength moves and inspires me to push myself and raise money for such a worthy cause. I run for them, for everyone facing cancer, and for the hope that research will bring us closer to a cure.
