My Story…
I’ve been running since middle school, not because I was fast, but because I loved the challenge and the opportunity to keep getting better each time. Over the years, life has brought a lot of change: moving countries, building a career, becoming a parent, and navigating major life transitions.
Through all of it, running has been the one constant that kept me going.
Today, life looks very different. Balancing everything isn’t always easy, but I know there’s no “perfect time” to take on a challenge like this, so I’m going for it.
I’m running the Philadelphia Half Marathon with my Takeda colleagues and raising funds for AACR to support critical cancer research. While progress has been incredible, there’s still so much more to be done, especially as funding becomes more uncertain.
