My Story…
I’m running the 2026 Philadelphia Half Marathon in honor of my grandma who both passed from cancer as well as Double H Ranch.
My grandma was an amazing person. She raised 19 kids and lived a very long, fulfilled live. Although I wish every day that I got to spend more time with her, I am forever grateful I got to know her and can be reminded of her when I am with my Mom and her family.
Double H Ranch is a specialized camp in Lake Luzerne, New York, that provides free, medically safe camp experiences for children with life-threatening and chronic illnesses, mainly cancer. I have had the honor of spending time there and gotten to learn so much about their mission, and it truly is one of the most incredible places I have gotten the experience of seeing and learning about. One of my favorite people, Kate Walsh, plays a big part there and if it was not for her, I would never have been introduced to such an amazing place.
I am so excited to be doing this for something bigger than myself. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and I cannot wait to run for this cause that is so close to my heart.
