My Story…
This November, I'm running the Philadelphia Marathon as part of the AACR Runners for Research team, and I need your help crossing the finish line!
The American Association for Cancer Research has funded over $551 million in research grants since 1993, work that has directly contributed to more than 4.5 million cancer deaths being prevented since 1991. That's not an abstract number. That's parents, siblings, friends, and neighbors who are still here because someone funded the science that saved them.
Cancer touches nearly everyone eventually, whether directly or through someone we love. I'm running 26.2 miles because it's the least I can do compared to what patients and families go through every day. Every dollar raised goes toward research, education, and advocacy that moves us closer to a world without cancer.
My goal is $750, and I'd be grateful for any support you can offer, whether that's $10 or $200. If you can't give, sharing this page with someone else still helps. Thank you for being part of my team, mile by mile.
