My Story…
This November, I am running the Philly Half Marathon to support the AACR (American Association for Cancer Research).
One of the hardest things about cancer is knowing that it can affect anyone. I've seen people in my family and circle of friends affected by cancer, and it's hard to not feel upset and angry for those who have been affected or lost someone they love.
Running has become an important part of how I take care of myself, and training for this half marathon has given me a greater appreciation for my health. Each run I am reminded that my health is something worth being grateful for, and I don't want to take that for granted.
The AACR helps advance cancer research in preventing, detecting, and treating cancer. Every donation is a way to stand with me and contribute to the fight against cancer.
Thank you for your consideration in donating, and helping turn something I love into an opportunity to give back.
