Help Caroline raise money

Hi, I'm Caroline DeKorte, and I'm raising money for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) as I train to run the Philadelphia Half Marathon.

I recently graduated from Penn State, where I was heavily involved in THON, benefiting Four Diamonds in the fight to end childhood cancer. Through THON, I discovered a passion and love for fundraising and, more importantly, saw firsthand the impact that a community can have on families affected by cancer.

Attending THON Weekend was deeply meaningful to me. Being able to spend time with the kids, see them smile and have fun, and know that you are helping make a difference in a child's life is an experience I will never forget. Their strength and resilience have stayed with me long after each THON Weekend.

During my senior year, I had the incredible privilege of being selected by my organization to dance for the full 46-hour event. It was an experience I will always cherish. While my legs ached and the weekend was physically and mentally challenging, those temporary struggles felt insignificant compared to what children and families experience in their fight against cancer.

My passion for supporting those affected by cancer has only grown since graduating, which is why I'm excited to continue fundraising through AACR and take on the Philadelphia Half Marathon.

My fundraising minimum is $750.
