My Story…
This year I am running the Falmouth Road Race as part of the NEADS World Class Service Dogs team, and I am running with someone very special in mind.
October 2025, I was assigned to my first NEADS service dog in training, Logan. What I thought would be a chance for me to help train a future service dog quickly became so much more. Logan changed the way I see the world. I watched how a dog can soften people, bring strangers together, and fill a room with light.
At the end of February 2026, I said goodbye to Logan as he progressed to the next stage of his training. It wasn't an easy goodbye, but it was also a proud one - knowing that every step forward brings him closer to the person whose life he will one day change.
So this year, every mile I run is for my first of many service dogs in training, Logan, and the incredible journey all NEADS service dogs take - from puppy to life-changing partner and companion. Supporting NEADS means helping more dogs like Logan reach the people who need them most.
Thank you for helping me run with purpose.
