My Story…
This year, I’m excited to be running in the Falmouth Road Race while raising funds for NEADS, an organization that is very close to my heart.
NEADS World Class Service Dogs, is a nonprofit organization that trains and places assistance dogs with individuals who have physical disabilities, as well as with professionals working in educational, clinical, and community settings. Their dogs provide not only practical support, but also meaningful emotional connection, helping to increase independence, confidence, and overall well-being.
Through my private practice, Hye Tide Counseling, I have experienced the impact of NEADS firsthand. This past November, we welcomed our facility dog, Tigger, into both my family and my practice—and the difference he has made has been incredible. Tigger brings a calming, grounding presence to sessions, helping clients feel more comfortable, regulated, and open. He has quickly become a beloved part of our work and a meaningful support to so many individuals and families.
Outside of the office, Tigger has also become a cherished member of our family. My clients and my family have truly fallen in love with him, and we feel incredibly grateful for the joy and connection he brings into our lives each day.
Running the Falmouth Road Race is an opportunity for me to give back to NEADS and help support the training and placement of more amazing dogs like Tigger. Any contribution, big or small, will go toward helping others experience the same life-changing impact.
Thank you so much for your support.
