💙 Honouring Tanner– 10 Years in Heaven

This year marks Tanner’s 10th angelversary, June 24, 2026, and the weight of that number sits heavy on our hearts. Ten years without his laugh, his hugs, his energy and yet somehow, his love still finds me in the quiet moments, in the memories that surface out of nowhere, and in the people who continue to speak his name.

Grief doesn’t fade; it changes shape. It becomes something you learn to carry, something that teaches you about love in ways you never imagined. Tanner may not be here physically but he is woven into everything I do, every choice I make, every bit of strength I’ve had to find.

This year, Katie and I are participating in Run for Life in his honour, for the boy who changed our worlds, for the light he brought into every room, and for the hope that no other family has to endure this kind of loss. Suicide touches so many lives, and if sharing Tanner’s story can help even one person feel less alone, then his light continues to shine.

Every step I take is for him.

Every tear, every breath, every km — for him.

And every donation supports life‑saving programs, compassionate support, and the possibility of a different ending for someone else’s child.
