When and where do I pick up my race packet? 8:30am at the Milton Sport Center
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
In many cases, yes. They may need a copy of your registration confirmation and/or ID.
Is there parking available at the event?
Yes, parking options will be provided near the start/finish area. We recommend arriving early and considering carpooling if possible.
Do you give out medals?
No, we do not give out medals for the Paws in Motion Run/Walk for Rescue Dogs Instead, we focus on creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere where participants can enjoy the event and support an important cause.
Where does the money raised at the Paws in Motion Run/Walk for Rescue Dogs go?
The money raised from the Paws in Motion helps to:
- vet bills
- purchase food
- purchase crates for fosters
- emergency surgeries
Is the Paws in Motion a registered charity?
No. Paws in Motion is not a registered charity and does not currently have a charitable status. We are a volunteer run, community supported rescue organization dedicated to helping dogs in need across Ontario.
Because we are not a registered charity, donations are not tax-deductible. Every dollar donated goes directly toward veterinary care, food, supplies, transportation, and supporting the dogs in foster program.
We are grateful for the support of our community, adopters, fosters, donors, and local businesses who help make our work possible.
