Our mission is to help running events operate responsibly – reducing environmental impact and advancing a culture of sustainability across the sport.

Race organizers want to make more sustainable choices, and runners are looking for events that align with their values. Yet many races face real barriers: limited time, tight budgets, and too many competing priorities.

Racing for Sustainability works collaboratively with race organizers, runners, and aligned partners to turn environmental goals into practical action.

By combining education, resources, recognition, and funding, we help weave sustainability into the fabric of racing events.
