Become an AMPT Champ and take on the 10K Challenge! The 2021 schedule includes 5 events (in-person, virtual, or a combination of both) that travel some of the most scenic 10K courses in all of DFW. Put your fitness and training to the test as you accept the AMPT Champ 10K Challenge!

10K Challenge Rules

  • Runners must complete all 5 events (LIVE or VIRTUAL) within the 2021 calendar year.
  • Runners must have official or virtual results for all 5 events.
  • Half Marathon runners do not qualify for the AMPT Champ 10K Challenge. Half Marathon participants should register for the Triple Dare Half Marathon Challenge.
  • In-Person runners (Toyota LIVE participants) will pick up their commemorative AMPT Champ 10K medal upon completing the LIVE Toyota Music Factory 10K on November 14, 2021. Note: Medals must be picked up from the “Challenge” Booth at the race site. Medals will NOT automatically be mailed to LIVE event participants. Medals that are NOT claimed on RACE DAY can be shipped for a $6.00 S/H fee. Please email customerservice@amptrunning.com on or before 12/31/2021 to request shipment. Please note: Due to the weight of this HEAVY medal and the recent price increase for USPS commercial parcels, the cost to ship is $6.00 per medal.
  • VIRTUAL (Toyota) participants will receive their commemorative AMPT Champ 10K medal via USPS mail when they receive their VIRTUAL Toyota Music Factory 10K race SWAG.
  • ALL UNCLAIMED medals as of January 5, 2022 will be donated to Bling for Bravery, a non-profit charity that celebrates and rewards the bravery of the pediatric cancer patients at Texas Children’s Cancer Hospital in Houston, TX.
  • All 5 events must be chip timed or have VIRTUAL race times in Results in order to “qualify” for the challenge.
  • Challenge medals are reserved for the first 700 runners that register and complete the challenge.
  • To qualify, runners must register for the challenge as a BUNDLE PACKAGE (the easy one-click registration includes entry into all 5 events at their lowest price), OR register for each event individually under the SAME first and last name, date of birth, and email address.
  • Runners that register for each event individually under a different name, date of birth and/or email address do not qualify.
  • Runners that upgrade to the Half Marathon on any of the 5 events do not qualify.
