Series details
The R-Series is a series of sanctioned events hosted by Athletics Alberta. Each race consists of a fun and unique 5X1 km relay which can be done as a team or solo. Each person completes the same 1km loop or multiple loops for a team or solo total of 5km. These events are perfect for families, track clubs, school groups - anybody and everybody! And we have some great Asics prizes to give away.
In 2021 there will be 6 events over 6 months; 3 in Edmonton and 3 in Calgary. Do one or do them all! Covid restrictions forced cancellation of our spring dates and we currently have four in the calendar in June and beyond. We're busy adding dates for the fall so check back often!
