2019 California International Marathon

Welcome to the California International Marathon. Our point-to-point, net downhill course has remained unchanged for 37 years, providing over 100,000 runners of all speeds–from first-timers to the fastest of the fast–the best chance to achieve their marathon goals. We look forward to having you BREAKTHROUGH with us this December!

The California International Marathon is completely sold out and registration is closed at this time. There will not be a waiting list and new entries will not become available. Registration for the 2020 CIM will open in early December.

Deferral Registration (available October 28 through November 15) - If you are unable to run the California International Marathon this year, please use the deferral option to the right (yellow button) to enable you to run in 2020. Upon completion of your deferral registration, you will receive a code. Please retain this code for your records as you will need it to register yourself for the 2020 CIM. You will receive instructions in early 2020 explaining how to redeem your code.

A $49 fee will be charged to cover costs already incurred, and the administration of the deferral program.
