The Puddle Jumper Classic is the Sunshine Coast’s first ultramarathon! Started in 2017 it has quickly grown to be a loved and maybe a little hated course by a lot of runners. It lives up to its name with plenty of puddles and creeks to cross throughout the course. Most of the course is on single trail with rocks, roots and creeks to keep you on your toes.
It's a loop course starting and finishing in Cliff Gilker Park in Roberts Creek, BC.
The 50k has an elevation of 6972ft/2125m and the 25k has an elevation of 5339ft/1627m.

Race Day
Saturday September 5th 2020 in Cliff Gilker Park
7.00 - 7:30am: | 50k package pick up and check-in |
7.45am: | 50k briefing |
8.00am: | 50k start |
7.30 - 8.30am: | 25k package pick up and check-in |
8.45am: | 25k briefing |
9.00am: | 25k start |
12.15pm: | First 50k expected to cross the finish line |
12.00 - 7.00pm: | Beer garden is open |
Parking:
There is no parking in the park - you can be dropped of by friends/family.
Shuttle available for $5
Parking will be on the logging road just before/after the park (Largo Rd.). From here we will have a shuttle running to the park. We will also have a shuttle running from the local school parking lot. Shuttle tickets can be bought with registration or closer to race day through the store.
Package Pick Up:
Friday June 5th 2019 @PaceSetter Athletics in Gibsons between 3-7pm
Saturday June 6th at the start line in Cliff Gilker Park
Aid Stations:
Aid stations will be stocked with fruit, chips, cookies and we will have Tailwind Nutrition available as well as water and coke.
50k:
AS 1: 11k, 23.8k and 29.3k
AS 2: 32.5k
AS 3: 40k
25k:
AS 1: 11k and 16.5k
AS 2: 20k
Cut Offs:
Cut off is at AS 3 at 5pm!
Finish Line:
We will have a BBQ and beer garden at the finish line. Each runner gets a free burger and beer/cider/soft drink. Extra burgers and drinks can be purchased on the day.
Drop Bags:
Drop bags are only for the 50k and can be dropped off Saturday morning at check-in. Bags will be available at AS1.
Crewing and Spectators:
Access on the course is available at AS1. Please park before you hit Hwy 102 and stay out of the way of runners and volunteers.
Cancellation Policy
Race entries are non-refundable and bibs can't be transferred to another runner under any circumstances.
You can change distance until May 1st 2020 - no refunds/credits given if dropping in distance.
Entries are not deferrable for future races.
Code of ethics
We would note that if you have previously been caught cheating or banned in any other sport event that your entry will be refunded and you will barred from entering any of Team Wolverine Athletics events. Cheating includes but is not limiting to course cutting, doping, someone running in your place or other means.
