Help Stephanie raise money

Even though I am now over 5 years out from the day I heard the awful words 'you have cancer,' snippets and moments from those first few weeks, treatment days, and all the emotions of that very scary time in my life pop into my head and heart.  Thinking not only about whether or not I will beat this, but how my family will handle all of it, if I will get to see my babies grow up, and how I can keep things as 'normal' as possible in our home.  

There are so many items on the to do list - researching doctors and oncologists, figuring out treatment options, how to get to / from all of your appointments, who will get the kids off the bus, how you will make dinner after chemo or drive to activities when all you want to do is lay on the couch.  That's not including the mental and emotional toll it all takes on you and your caretaker(s).  It is A LOT for EVERYONE!

That's why when I look back and think about my tribe, the people who stepped up and stepped in from my backyard, my son's daycare, my daughter's elementary school, family and friends from across the country...I can't help but get choked up.  The sheer gratitude I have for these people and their love and prayers will never diminish even as the years pass by from that very scary time. 

Not everyone has that same support system, and even if they do, they might not have the financial means to take time off work.  Not just for treatment days, but for the days when they mentally and emotionally can't think straight from the sheer fear that might have a hold on them for a few hours.  For those who can donate to this amazing organization that I am so immensely grateful for being a part of, I ask you to please do so.  Together we can help lessen the load a little bit for a mom who might be worried about paying her rent or how to pay for gas to get to and from her appointments.  And if you can....please join me in person on Saturday, March 12th for what will be an amazing experience that you won't soon forget!
