| START at Racecourse. |
| Once out of the Racecourse gate, turn RIGHT onto Racecourse Road. |
| After approx. 500m, loop around the cone/marshal and return to the entrance of the Racecourse. Loop back around the cone at the entrance and once again head southbound along Racecourse Road. |
| Continue along Racecourse Road turning RIGHT into Porangahau Road. |
| Transition 1 is at the corner of Porangahau and Arlington Roads (1st Transition for Teams – at approximately 6kms). 1 portaloo located here. |
| Turn RIGHT into Arlington Road and continue along until the next intersection. |
| Turn RIGHT into Hatuma Road. |
| Transition 2 is at the corner of Hatuma and Settlement Roads (2nd Transition for Teams - at approximately 10.5kms) AND the 10km START LINE. 2 portaloo's are located here. |
| Continue along Hatuma Road. |
| Transition 3 is opposite JG Wilson Drive/Hatuma Heights turn off (3rd Transition for Teams at approximately 16kms). 1 portaloo located here. |
| Continue on Hatuma Road until the end. |
| Turn RIGHT onto the footpath on Takapau Road (State Highway 2). |
| Turn RIGHT onto Racecourse Road at the Tavistock Hotel Corner. |
| At this point move back onto the road but remember to STAY to the right. |
| At the bend at the base of the hill there is a blind corner for oncoming traffic, all participants are to leave the road once more and follow the signs using the footpath along the residential access way before returning to the road. Continue on along Racecourse Road. |
| FINISH back inside Racecourse grounds at finish line. |
