The Tommy Vaughn's Blackfoot Marathon and More, presented by Idaho Central Credit Union, will be run on May 17, 2014. Featuring a new finishing mile, ending in Jensen Grove Park, this event provides great runner amenities, an excellent course through the Bingham County countryside, top notch community support, and an opportunity to assist those less fortunate through participation.
Begun in 2012 by local restaurateur Kevin Rupe and Race Director Jon Lyksett, this event features a US Track and Field Certified Course and Sanctioning. Several runners have turned in qualifying times for the Boston Marathon on the course.
Proceeds from the event are directed to Community Dinner Table, a local charity that provides services and programs to reduce hunger in the community. Several thousand dollars have been contributed to CDT, thanks to the runners, sponsors, volunteers, and management of the event.

Event Information
Race Central will be at the Jensen Grove Park Pavilion. For parking, please follow directions of Police and Parking Attendants. When the park lot is full, cars will be directed to alternate parking locations close by.
Packet Pickup will be at Tommy Vaughn's Grill from Noon to 8 pm on Friday, May 16, and will open again at Race Central at 4:30 am on Saturday morning. You'll need your numbered bib to get on the bus and buses will depart promptly as schuduled, so best get there early.
On Site Registration Available at Packet Pickup and at Race Central. On Site Registration for each event closes 1/2 hour prior to Bus departure time for that event, NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be a $5.00 On Site Registration fee added to the price of the event, and no tee shirts available for On Site registrants.
Finish Area and Pavilion Access will be restricted to runners with numbers and authorized staff and volunteers only. Please tell your family and friends to meet you on the lawn West of the pavilion.
Awards Ceremony will take place west of the pavilion at approximately 11:00 am.
