Elmira's annual race is a great flat course surrounding Lion's Hall.
Two Saturday evenings in April; the first is a 5k, and the second an 8k. Run either as separate races, or run both to be eligible for the series awards!

The family discount is: the first two are full price, and every additional family member is 50% off.

- Weight Categories: Male 180 - 199 lbs, or 200 lbs plus Female 150 - 169 lbs, or 170 lbs plus
TEAM CATEGORIES (each participant can belong to any number of team categories)
- Parent/Child (2 person team)
- Spouses (2 person team)
- Corporate (min 3 person team)
- School (min 3 person team)
- NEW: Open (min 5 person team)
Post Race
Enjoy a post race massage, live entertainment, draw prizes and a variety of refreshments following your run.
DRAW PRIZES
Everyone is eligible for hundreds of dollars in merchandise, as well as the Grand Draw Prize (per race):
$250 Cash
Winners must be present to claim prizes.
Awards
FOR EACH RACE
- Top 3 overall Male and Female, Open & Masters (age 40 plus)
- Top 3 Male and Female finishers in each age and weight category, and
- 1st place team in each Team Category.
- $100 in prize money will be awarded to the top Open team in any timed event in which there are at least 5 eligible teams in the official results.
Unclaimed medals will be available for pickup at Runners' Choice on Monday May 5, 2014.
FOR BOTH RACES
All runners who finish both races receive a finisher's medal and a separate category of Awards for COMBINED times of both races.
