The *new* Ohio Duathlon formerly the "Spring for SIDS" duathlon takes place on Sunday, April 27 at Battelle-Darby Creek Metro Park in Galloway, OH - just outside of Columbus, OH. A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the SIDS Network of Ohio.
The event consists of two duathlon distances:
Short duathlon: 2 mile run + 11.2 mile bike +2 mile run
Long duathlon: 2 mile run + 22.4 mile bike + 4 mile run

Divisions
Event divisions are available to participants:
Age divisions: Male & Female: Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70
Clydesdale (Men 225 lbs ) and Athena (Female 165 lbs )

Event Rules
Participants must wear assigned bib tag number on the front of your shirt or shorts. Your number must be visible to checkpoint recorders at all times. The timing tag is attached to your bib so failure to wear your assigned bib will result in your event not being scored.
Bike Helmets are mandatory. No exceptions. If Bike Helmet and bike numbers have been assigned, they must be secured to equipment. Once the transition closes you will be required to display assigned race number to enter and exit the transition or remove any equipment.
Non-participants are not permitted in the transition area for any reason.
Transition closes promptly at stated time. No entrance into transition will be permitted after stated time.
Once the event begins, vehicles will not be permitted to leave the park until the last participant has entered the bike course and exited the park.
Awards
All finishers will receive a commemorative finishers medal.
The top three overall finishers by gender and the top division finishers by gender are eligible to receive an award commemorating their experience. Only the top relay team will be elgible for commemorative award. Each member of the top relay team will receive a commemorative award.
Award ceremony will take place at the event. Athletes must be present to receive award. No awards will be mailed or delivered. Participants who elect not to stay for the award ceremony will be referenced to the award policy.
