Wild Willow Farm 5k & Chili Brew Fest

The smell of chili wafts through the air. A craft brew is waiting to wash it down. You are wandering the grounds of a San Diego farm to the sound of live music on a clear September day…

The 3rd annual Wild Willow Farm 5K & Chili Brew Fest unfolds Saturday, September 27, at 9 a.m. This harvest season celebration features a chili cook-off and beer tasting, plus a 5K trail run/walk.

Live music, farm tours, garden workshops and kid-approved farm fun add up to a great fall day with options for everyone! Get to know this San Diego Roots sustainable farm and education center.

There is a lot of new stuff growing down on the farm and the funds raised at the event will help Wild Willow Farm purchase a truck to deliver produce to their CSA and to the many awesome restaurants that will soon be able to order Wild Willow Farm’s Organic Produce.

FOOD, BEER, AND FARM FUN!

Sample chili and beer, cheer on the 5k runners, and enjoy live music and tour Wild Willow Farm. The first 100 chili tastings purchased will include a handmade ceramic bowl and first 100 beer tastings purchased include a signature glass, both are yours to keep!

T-SHIRTS!

In an effort to save the environment and NOT cover land fills with Sandy Feet Events t-shirts, we will not be providing t-shirts to each participant. Instead, we will have a screenprinter on hand and if you bring your own plain light colored t-shirt, we will print the event logo on it for you! There is no charge for this, but we welcome donations. For those who do not want to bring your own shirt, we will have a limited amount of shirts for sale for a nominal fee of $10 that we can screenprint for you. 100% of the all shirt proceeds will go to Wild Willow Farm.
