2014 StarPhoenix Bridge City Boogie

The Bridge City Boogie is a fabulous community event that includes a 2k, 5k,10k, walk or run as well as entertainment, team shirts, prizes and more! There is something for everyone! Entering as a team adds a fun component with lots of rewards!

Team Registration Deadline: Final cut off for team registration is Tuesday, May 13 – no exceptions.

Teachers - Team Package Pick Up: Some schools do not have class on Friday, June 6 so teachers are welcome to pick up their team’s packages on Thursday, June 5 from 11:30am-1:30pm at Alvin Buckwold School (715 East Drive) so that they can distribute the packages to their students that day. Only designated team captains are allowed to pickup packages for teams.

Team Package Pick Up: Team captains must pickup their team's packages on Thursday, June 5 from 5:00-7:00pm at Alvin Buckwold School (715 East Drive). This will allow plenty of time for team captains to distribute their packages to team members prior to the event on Sunday. If team captains are unable to make the Thurs. night team package pickup they are welcome to pickup their packages on Saturday, June 7 from 10:00-3:00pm. Only designated team captains are allowed to pickup packages for teams.

Individual Package Pick Up: Individual participants must pickup their race packages on Saturday, June 7 from 10:00am-3:00pm at Alvin Buckwold School (715 East Drive). Race packages include timing chip, race number and t-shirt. If you are unable to pick up your own package, you may send written permission with a friend or family member and they will be allowed to pick up the package for you. If you do not send written permission, we will not release your package.

There will be no package pickup or registration on Sunday, June 8.
