Belle River Beach Bash Dash 5k/10mile

Belle River Source for Sports and Belle River Running Club Proudly present the Beach Bash Dash on Saturday July 12th at the beautiful West Belle River Beach. This is the 7th running of our summertime race. There will be a kids 1K Dash, a 5K, and a 10 mile race. All proceeds to benefit the MURF, the new muti-recreational facility in Lakeshore scheduled to open in September 2014.
Registration is also available in person at Belle River Source for Sports.
All events start and finish at the West Belle River Beach and the routes are along the North Shore beach roads. Prizes will be awarded in all groups for the 5K and 10Miler. Each participant in the kid dash will receive a t-shirt and the popular BRRC finishers medal. The first 300 participants to register for the 5K and 10 mile and 5K walk will receive a pair of Under Armor sandals to rock at the beach following the race. The sandals are a $50 value!
After the races, please hang around for some quality beach time. There will be a DJ kicking out the tunes, volleyball, sand bocce ball for the brave along with nicest beach in Essex County and don't forget the splash pad for the kids!
Grab the kids, grab a towel, pack a cooler and join us in Belle River for the Beach Dash. Nothing is better than a day at the beach.
Lots of parking at the Belle River pier and walk across the man bridge to get to the West Beach the morning of the race .

Charity

Proceeds from the Beach Bash Dash will support Lakeshore’s new M.U.R.F sports complex .Please come out Saturday July 12, and participate in our communities premier running event.

Awards and Swag

There will be awards given to overall and age group winners for the 5K run/walk and 10 miler .

Kids that register for the 1K Dash will receive a t-shirt and medal.

Race Kit Pick-Up

Participants will be able to pick up their Race Kits on either the day before at Source for Sports from 12:00pm - 8:00pm or the day of the race at Belle River West Beach from 7:00am - 8:00am.

Lots of parking will be available at the Belle River pier . Please walk across the man bridge to the west beach .
