Fundraising for Literacy Network

You can make an even bigger difference in the lives of students by fundraising for Literacy Network.  It's easy!

1.  After you have registered for the event, check out your personal fundraising page.

2.  Send the link to your friends, family and co-workers and ask them to donate on your page.

3.  That's it!  You are raising money to improve the lives of student learners here at Literacy Network.

If you have family and friends who would prefer to make a donation in person you can download this pledge form to help with collection.  Please bring any offline donations with you on race day to turn in to the registration table.

Online Registration Tips

We are going green this year!  We are trying to save our trees and save on printing costs so we hope you will register online for the event.  If you really, really, really want to register through the mail you can find the registration form here but hey, you are already here so you might as well sign up online!

Large groups who just can't pay online (i.e. you would prefer us to invoice you, pay by check)- give us a call at 244-3911 or email jdavie@litnetwork.org and arrangements can be made.

The Course

The 5K Run and 10K Run course begins near the corner of State and Gorham streets and goes through campus along Lakeshore Path before returning to State Street.

Chip Timing

Runners who sign up for the 5K run or the 10K run will be chip timed.  Timing chips must be worn on foot or ankle in order to register your run time. Participants are responsible for adhering the chip properly to receive a correct time.  Anklets cannot be picked up until event day and must be returned immediately after the event. Timing services will be facilitated by an outside company.  Details about your timing will be posted through this website and the Literacy Network facebook page.

Parking is available in the lots in downtown Madison.  The State Street Campus garage (415 N. Lake Street, Madison, WI) is closest to the start and finish line of the event .  Check out the City of Madison parking availability here.
