On Saturday, October 18, 2014, Sisters Empowerment Network, Inc. will host the 4th Annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes: Community 5K Walk/Run Against Domestic Violence. The walk is a symbolic gesture of the community walking to raise awareness and money on the issues of violence against women.
The Walk gives men, women and children the opportunity to publicly take a stand that domestic violence is not tolerated in our homes, workplace, schools, and our communities; it shows that communities all across Georgia are willing to stand together with women in making the world a safer place for all women and children.

Pre-Rally
To host the preliminary ceremonies at the Riverdale Town Center located in Riverdale, Georgia beginning at 8:00 a.m. and the walk is slated to begin at 9:00 a.m.

Post-Rally
Entertainment, information, speakers will be provided at the post rally held at the Riverdale Town Center immediately following the walk.
