AKTIV OPEN WATER SWIM RACE(S) - POWERED BY MULTISPORT CANADA consisits of 4 open water swim races. Each race offers a mass start and multiple distance options for all levels of swimming skills and fitness.
This swim series was developed with the age group triathlete in mind, many age group tiathletes struggle with swimming or more specifically open water swimming. The multiple race format is designed to give swimmers an opportunity to practice open water swim racing.
In addition to gaining swim racing experiance, swimmers will also develop key skills by participating in the swim series. Swimmers will:
- increased confidance in crowded swim starts
- improved sighting and awarness in the water
- developed swim endurance and pacing
- improved swim times
- and much more!
