You asked for it! And it is back! The Fergus Highland Games 10k is on for 2015!
The Fergus Highland Games 10k is run on beautiful tree lined roads along the banks of the Grand River, between Fergus and Elora
Bagpipers at the start and finish. Scotch as a draw prize.

Race details
The 10k and the 2 x 5k are run at the same time on the same course. The exchange for the 2 x 5k is at the 5k mark of the 10k course. Both runners should go cross the blue mats at that point.
This year all post race activities, food, drink, awards and the Scotch draw will happen at the finish line, unlike in previous years.
The 400m will be run as an out and back from the finish line at 10:15. This will be followed by awards at 10:25 and the Scotch draw at 10:35. You must be present to win.
Cash prizes for the first three finishers in the men's and women's 10k races $100, $75 and $50.
There is a special award of $50 each for the top male and female under 19 years of age in memory of Mike Benham.
Merchadise will be awarded for first finisher in each ten year age group.
Fergus Scottish Festival
Sunday is Family Day at the Fergus Scottish Festival. This means lots of food, drink, Celtic rock and traditional bands, dancers, pipers, strong man events, tug of war, ukulele lessons, kids activities and highland animals. Each participant will receive a two for one pass at registration for the race. There are shower facilities at the Festival site.
