“10 days ‘til Christmas” Optimist Hill Campaign Promotion
Be one of THE FIRST pass holders for the Optimist Hill!
Saskatoon - this is your first chance to support the construction of a recreation park for winter and summer use in Diefenbaker Park in Saskatoon. Tuesday December 15 will launch the “10 days til Christmas” Optimist Hill Campaign promotion to kick start the public’s involvement of Saskatoon’s new Optimist Hill. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Show us #WeAllWantTheHill --donate and help spread the word!
This promotion offers a unique opportunity for donors to be one of THE VERY FIRST pass holders for the Optimist Hill. Donors can pledge funds to the campaign online and get some great prizes, knowing their donation is making a difference for the Hill and for the kid in all of us. Each donation comes with a different set of perks depending on the size of the donation. The promotion encourages people to register online as a supporter, make their own contribution and create a page to invite relatives and friends to join them in supporting the Optimist Hill Campaign, so more kids and families can Go Play Outside.
When you make your online donation, you will receive a certificate and an online photo souvenir. “I’ve got my pass! I supported the Optimist Hill Campaign!”. Supporters are encouraged to share their photo through social media to show others how easy it is to be involved.
The Optimist Hill Christmas campaign is being led by brothers- Nathan and Anthony Thoen, snow boarders extraordinaire and extreme sports enthusiasts. “Snowboarding is one of my passions” says Anthony. “I can’t wait to have a snowboard/ski/tube facility for all kids to access in Saskatoon. It’s so important to have more winter activity options for kids, especially given the length of our winters. Having a local ski hill growing up had a huge impact in shaping who I am today.” Both work in the marketing and promotions industry, and believe that getting this message out through social media is a fantastic way to kick starts the public’s involvement with this campaign.
