Approximately 36 million American adults report some degree of hearing loss. The students and faculty in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at West Virginia University are constantly doing their part to raise awareness of hearing loss to the public and how it may be prevented through a variety of community service activities year-round.
The annual MountainEAR 5K is our biggest activity. It is hosted by the Student Academy of Audiology at West Virginia University. All proceeds benefit the WVU Speech and Hearing client fund that assists clients with financial limitations.
This year is our 5th annual MountainEAR 5K! We appreciate your continued support!
