Run with the Nuns 2019

The Run with the Nuns is a race through natural hills and picturesque scenery of Mount Assisi. This challenging all-terrain course features a variety of surfaces from asphalt to grass. All participants will receive a race medal and a long sleeve dry-fit shirt. Shirts and shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations received before September 26, 2019. After September 26th, your shirt or shirt size may not be available.

•$5.00 discount for 5K registrations received from now until May 31, 2019.

•After May 31, the registration fee is $40.00 for the 5K.

•The day of event cost to register for the 5K is $45.00 with credit card or $40.00 with cash or check.

•Registration and Packet Pick Up opens at 7:30 AM on race morning.

•5K starts at 9:00 AM. Runners and Walkers will start at the same time!

•Race proceeds benefit the School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King.

Award Categories

Top Three Youth, Top Three Men, and Top Three Women will be recognized and given an award.

Race Morning Time Line

Registration and packet pick up open at 7:30 AM.

5K (Walkers and Runners) start promptly at 9:00 AM.

Pre Race Packet Pick Up

Pre race day packet pick up will occur at Mt. Assisi, 13860 Main Street, Lemont. Thursday, 10/17/19 from 6P to 8P and Saturday 10/19/19 from 8A to 10A.

Virtual Runners!

Do you want to Run with the Nuns but can’t make it on October 20th?

Have you already signed up, but can’t join us anymore? WELL…. We’ve created a VIRTUAL RACE OPTION just for you!

Of course, we would love to have you join us in person, but we understand that sometimes things might happen and you may not be able to attend the event. We’re very excited to offer you a brand NEW ALTERNATIVE to run or walk your race and get your bib, shirt, AND medal!

With our Virtual Run/Walk option, you choose the time and place to walk or run your 5K (3.1 miles). Of course, the Sisters will miss you, but you will be there with us in spirit! AND, you can still get some great gifts!

Your 5k can be done on your favorite running path, while on vacation, or around your neighborhood. You can do it on October 20th while we are running in Lemont or pick another day and time between now and October 31st.

It's a simple process. Register today for the Virtual Race Option. After the Race and once we receive your information, we will mail your bib, shirt, and medal. You can complete your 5K anytime from now until October 31st. Send your information by November 15th to carriepeters2@sbcglobal.net.

VIRTUAL RACE RULES

Virtual Race may be purchased until NOON October 19th. Cost is $40 which includes mailing costs to ship you your goodies.

Virtual runners cannot run the Official Course race.

After registering for the Virtual Race, you may complete your 5K (3.1 miles) until October 31st.

All 3.1 miles should be completed within one day/session and there is no time limit on the Virtual Run.

Your finish time will NOT be posted on the Race Results Page nor will you be eligible for any male/female awards.

Runners who signed up for the traditional course race are allowed to switch to the Virtual Race before October 19th by emailing carriepeters2@sbcglobal.net. No transfer to the Virtual Race will be accepted past this date and fees will not be refunded or transferred.

Bib, shirts, and medals will be mailed to the address listed on the registration form. We will NOT mail outside the United States. If we run out of your size shirt or medal, we will order additional medals and shirts and those will be mailed to you upon receipt. Up to 8 weeks.
