Race Day Logistics

200 North River Street, Montgomery, Illinois -- The Montgomery 5k and 10k River Run is a family friendly event that features a flat, fast running course along both sides of the beautiful Fox River. The 5K and 10K Run is a USA Track & Field certified course. Certification Codes for each: IL-06047JW and IL-13137-JW. Pets, kids and strollers are all welcome to walk the 5K course as well.

Register early! 

Registration fee will increase by $5.00 if registering after August 31, 2019!  Participants who register before August 31st are also guaranteed to receive a long-sleeve dri-fit shirt and goodie bag!

Pre Race Day Packet Pick Up

Thurs., Oct. 3^rd from 8 AM - 7 PM and Fri., Oct. 4^th from 8 AM - 4:30 PM at the Village of Montgomery, 200 North River Street in the Community. Please note that ALL race packets will be by individual last name regardless if you are on a team or not.

Age Groups and Award Categories

Awards will be given to the top male and female runner in the 5K & the 10K along with awards to the top runners in each age bracket.

14 & under

20-24

25-29

30-34

35-39

40-44

45-49

50-54

55-59

60-64

65-69

70 & Over

The awards ceremony will take place inside Village Hall around 10:30 AM (subject to last runners finishing the race)
