CAC Rocks 5K

Central Arizona College is excited to kick off an Annual Fun Run/Walk 

in celebration of our 50th anniversary.  




Proceeds raised will benefit Pinal county residents with scholarship opportunities

 to attend Central Arizona College and the Promise for the Future program. 


Help us fill our newly opened CAC Food Pantries!

- Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups. Our age groups are the following:

  • 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Over

- Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (bagels, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)

- Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google) (5K Race Participants only)

- Event Managed by StartLine Racing. Club SLR discounts do not apply.

Race Day Information

  • Race Day Registration will be available beginning at 6:30am.

    • We accept cash, check, and credit cards on race day

    • Prices on race day will be $40

    • To receive student pricing, you must show your student i.d. at packet pickup

  • Stroller and wagon friendly event

  • Leashed pet friendly

  • Due to the common start/finish line, there is no bag check for this event.

Packet Pick-up Opportunities

  • Friday, October 18, 2019 from 3:00 - 6:00pm at Central Arizona College - Student Union Building (map).

    • CAC is located at 8470 N Overfield Road, Coolidge, Arizona 85128

  • Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Central Arizona College (race location) beginning at 6:30am.

Event schedule

  • Fri, October 18, 2019 3:00 PM - Pre-race day packet pick-up at CAC from 3-6pm
  • Sat, October 19, 2019 6:30 AM - Race Day Packet Pick-up and Registration Opens
  • Sat, October 19, 2019 7:30 AM - 5K Begins
  • Sat, October 19, 2019 8:30 AM - 5K Award Ceremony Begins (approx)
