2020 Fundraising: Wounded Warrior Project
Both the Madison and Hammerschmidt communities have many ties to the US Military. We are beyond grateful for all the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country and the sacrifices they have made to keep us safe and protect our freedom. This year, we have partnered with Wounded Warrior Project to help raise funds for military veterans. We will be donating 10% of every registration to the Wounded Warriors Project. Awards
Age Groups and Award Categories:
- 5k Race
- Madison & Hammerschmidt students: top 3 boys & girls from each grade get a medal
- K-5
- Non-elementary aged students: top three from each age group get a medal
- 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 & 50+
- Madison & Hammerschmidt students: top 3 boys & girls from each grade get a medal
***This year, medals will be given to the student recipients at school the week following the race***
