Conquer The Lake returns this year in Lake Country, BC on SUNDAY, JUNE 18th, 2023!
Run around beautiful Wood Lake for the Half Marathon or a 5k Fun Run (out-and back routes along the Rail Trail). We also have a 1km fun run for kids mid-morning, fun for the whole family.
The Half Marathon is officially one of the Interior Running Association's (IRAs) races in the Road Running Race Series!
This year we are running this event for a local cause. Race proceeds and fundraising will go towards Elevation Outdoors, a non-profit organization in the Okanagan that aims to enhance the lives of underprivileged youth by providing specially designed outdoor sports programs that are accessible to all.
START LOCATION:
Beasley Park, 3450 Woodsdale Road, Lake Country BC
Race Start Times:
Half-Marathon: 8 a.m.
5k Fun Run: 8:30 a.m.
1km Fun Run for Kids: 10:30 a.m.
Awards Time:
11:30 a.m. (in front of the Beasley Community Centre steps)
There will be Draw Prizes from the IRA.
Age-group prizes will be given out to the top 3 of each age-group.
RACE PACKAGE PICK-UP:
Will happen on RACE MORNING this year!
Pick-up time starts at 6:30 a.m.
Held at the Beasley Community Centre: There will be 2 lines, each for the Half-Marathon and 5k to keep it separate.
The Kids Run race-bib pickup will be after 8:30 a.m. up until race-time.
There will be no refunds issued 60 days prior to the event due to incurred costs, processing fees and fundraising event. Thank you for your understanding.
