Gopher Attack 2024 - Sunday, April 28th - 18 Years & Running!

Gopher Attack is an early spring Boston Qualifier marathon with a flat and fast course. The marathon course winds through the scenic Wascana Park and the University of Regina campus. It is a 21.1 km loop certified by Athletics Canada. Participants who meet the Boston Marathon qualifying times will be eligible to enter the Boston Marathon in the following year. For 2024 there will be four distances - Marathon, Half-marathon, 10km and 5km. The start is in front of the Queen Building, 100 Navy Way, in Wascana Park, Regina, Saskatchewan. As well, for those that won't be able to make it on race day, there is a virtual event with five distances... registration for the virtual race gets you entered for all five distances, including the special 18km distance for 2024... run one or run them all. Virtual runners will have from April 28 to May 31 to complete their distances.

Finishers will receive a unique medal... in-person participants will receive a logoed tote/cooler bag and, a discount voucher from Track & Trail... virtual participants will receive a medal as well as the Track & Trail discount.

Race start times: 8:00 Marathon and Half Marathon / 8:30 10km and 5 km

Race Packet Pickup: Saturday 1:00-5:30 Queen Building 100 Navy Way; Sunday, 7:00 am Queen Building (please try & pickup on Saturday if possible as it will be busy pre-race.); Virtual event participants will receive by mail.
