Countdown to event
LACE UP. BE PROUD. LET'S GO!
Please join us for the 2024 Vancouver Pride Run & Walk on Sunday, July 28th! 🏳️🌈 Held during Canada Pride and Vancouver Pride celebrations, this year's event is not one to miss! PRW2023 saw an epic record turnout last year, and we look forward to seeing you at the start line!
The first 500 registrants will receive a free Pride Run & Walk Brooks tee, so be sure to register soon!
Pride Run & Walk features Canada's most beautiful 10k course, a certified race distance by BC Athletics. The 10k running course loops around the Stanley Park seawall and the 5k course for runners and walkers follows the 10k route towards Coal Harbour before returning to the 5/10k finish line in Ceperley Park in Stanley Park.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, Brooks Running, Forerunners on Main, Innovative Fitness, and the City of Vancouver, our entry fee has remained low at $40.
Pride Run & Walk is your community event! Thanks to your post-race feedback survey responses we've made a bunch of improvements to the event, courses, post-race nutrition and scheduling. We've moved the start time earlier to help beat the summer heat, and we've tuned the schedule to get everyone on the course promptly. Our program starts at 8:00 a.m., the official welcome ceremony at 8:15 a.m., and the first runners will set off from the starting line at 8:35 a.m. sharp.
Over the past twenty years, Vancouver Frontrunners has hosted Pride Run & Walk. Now celebrating its 41st year, Vancouver Frontrunners provides a welcoming and inclusive space for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, their friends, families, and allies to run and walk. Everyone is welcome! 🏳️🌈

We're proud to offer a BC Athletics-sanctioned event allowing runners and walkers to race and enjoy scenic Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC.
10K Running Course Our 10K running course is a measured, BC Athletics-certified and qualifying 10-kilometre distance. This beautiful, flat and fast course takes runners around the scenic Stanley Park seawall to the finish line at Ceperley Park within Stanley Park. | 5K Running & Walking Course We've combined our two courses this year. 5K runners and walkers will head towards Coal Harbour, continue to the turnaround point near HMCS Discovery Naval Base, and finish at Ceperley Park. | |
We're grateful for our partnership with the Vancouver Falcons Athletic Club, which provides Pride Run & Walk their Summerfast 10K course certification.
All map distances are approximate. Courses may vary on race day due to events out of our control, including, but not limited to, heat emergencies, natural or other disasters, and storm or other damage to the Seawall and other aspects of the routes.
