Cherokee County will welcome first responders from across the country to participate in the 42nd Annual Georgia Police and Fire Games, with the 5K taking place at Hobgood Park in Woodstock, GA on June 13, 2026.
The 5K is open to ALL! Civilians, active and retired law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, and other public safety professionals in the U.S. This is a family friendly event, and we hope you bring your families to cheer you on.
Police & Fire Combined:
Overall Male and Female
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Male in the following age groups: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Female in the following age groups: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
Civilians:

Top three males and females in the following age groups:
10 and under, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71+

7:00 am - Race Day Bib Pick-Up and In-Person Registration
7:50 am - Head to Start Line
8:00 am - 5K Race Start

- There are NO refunds for this race if you did not enroll in the Refund Protection Program.
- Race Management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions
- Registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to "Acts of God".
