SAG Supplies - A week before the event (10/20-21) at the club locker - Assist SAG manager in identifying and purchasing needed SAG supplies. Clean up all utensils and organize SAG bins; clean out all coolers, check folding tables, and distribute SAG signage.
Mark Courses - 5-7 days before the event - Assist Course manager in traveling the courses and laying down turn markers as required. Check course signage at the club locker, repair or replace as necessary.
Stuff Packets - 3-5 days before the event - Assist Marketing and Registration managers in gathering rider materials (numbers, safety pins, cue sheets, & SWAG), and assembling participant packets.
Saturday 10/27/18
SAG Food Shopping - 10am-12noon - Assist SAG manager in purchasing food & drink for SAG Rest Stops, breakfast, etc.
Ice Pickup - 11:30am-2pm - Pickup up block ice from vendor. At the club locker parking lot, assist SAG manager in distributing ice to SAG leaders.
SAG Food/Supplies Depot - 12noon-2pm - At the club locker parking lot, assist SAG manager in distributing supplies and food to each SAG Rest Stop leader.
Sat PM Registration - 12:45pm-4:15pm - At the Cocoa Civic Center, register / present packets and T-shirts to participants.
Sunday 10/28/18
Sun AM Registration - 6-8:30am - At the Cocoa Civic Center, register / present packets and T-shirts to participants.
Breakfast - 6-8:30am - Serve a light breakfast to riders and volunteers.
SAG Dispatch - 8am-5pm - At the Cocoa Civic Center, working with another dispatcher, receive calls from riders in field, and coordinate necessary support. Requires cell-phone and laptop computer.
Roving SAG - 8am-5pm - Along the courses, working with three other Rovers, and Dispatch, assist riders as required with mechanical help and transportation to nearest Rest Stop.
SAG Rest Stop support - Prepare the site by setting up tables and awnings (RS#1, #2, #3 only), laying out food, preparing sandwiches and gatorade, keeping site tidy, assisting riders where required, and cleaning up at conclusion.
Sweeper SAG - 8am-5pm - Along the courses, advise straggling riders of SAG and Event time limitations, direct them on how to get back to Cocoa.
Civic Center Post-Ride Meal - At the Cocoa Civic Center, welcome finishing riders, serve the post-ride meal, maintain good supplies of food and drink.
Civic Center Cleanup - At the Cocoa Civic Center, put away table & chairs, move leftover supplies to club locker and food to donations.
