My Story…
In September of 2020, I suffered a heart attack, caused by a 100% blockage of my left anterior descending or LAD artery. This is called a “widowmaker” heart attack, as it carries with it a high death risk.
Fortunately, quick action by my family and doctors at the Sanger Heart Clinic in Pineville saved my life, and I suffered minimal damage to my cardiac muscle.
Cardia rehab was an absolute necessity, in my view. It helped me get back to normal as soon as possible, over the course of 3 months, and helped me plan out how to stay that way. No one should have to skip rehab because they cannot afford it. That’s why I am trying to raise money for the Cupid 5K.
