Our story…
In October of 2019, just days after her 59th birthday, Shelly was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought hard over the next year and beat it! Last year we ran this race for her and this year she is going to do the 5k herself (with her husband Wally in sunny Florida). We are all so thankful for the positive outcome but also know that not everyone is as lucky. We are running this race to support those who are still fighting and to give them the strength to beat cancer. Thank you!
