My Story…
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis on April 4, 1968. I want to do my part in healing from that dark night, honoring the beautiful diversity of the present, and hoping for MLKJ's dream to be fulfilled. For that reason, my fundraising goal is $1,968. Your contributions will be funding non-profits that are working daily to overcome the systemic problems created by racism.
Ultimately, I’m racing for racial reconciliation in the city of Memphis! As MLK said himself, "Nothing would be more tragic than to stop at this point in Memphis. We've got to see it through...Be concerned about your brother."
