My Story…
Hello,
I am thrilled to be running in this year's Pride and Remembrance Run as part of the Queer East Run Crew team!
I am running in support of all the beneficiary organizations of this year's Pride Run. I have lived and seen first hand how they have positively impacted the lives of so many LGBTQI+ people in Toronto. I will be channeling the incredible tenacity, big heartedness, and resilience of all those who work at these organizations and all those who they serve on the run. Your work is inspiring and essential. I see the impact you make, and I support you.
On a personal level, this year's run feels like a bit of a comeback. In 2020, I suffered a knee injury and could no longer run. After a surgery and six months of rehabilitation, I slowly regained the ability to run. And now i'm back! The gratitude and joy I experience while running now has been forever heightened by this experience.
I'm proud to be running on the Queer East Run Crew's 2023 Pride Team. Thank you to the Queer East Run Crew leadership team for all the time you've put in to create a welcoming community of runners.
I am hoping to raise $500 total, and I appreciate anything you can pledge.

Hi friends!
I’m participating in the pride & remembrance run!
I need your support, as the run is raising funds for 5 incredible non-profit organizations that are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: Asian Community AIDS Services, Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, the 519, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.
It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $300,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these non-profits are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and I would be so grateful for your donation.
