My Story…
Hiya,
It's my 13th year doing the Pride and Remembrance Run! It's always a fun run and a highlight of my Pride weekend and June in general. It's also my second year running with the wonderful people at Queer Run Club.
Every year the run raises money for a selection of programs supporting queer folks in Toronto and beyond, and this year is no exception!
All donations go towards:
• AndThenIWasFree's interactive workshops and support groups for Indigenous Two-Spirit youth that incorporate Indigenous culture and teachings as well as discussions around lateral violence.
• A community pantry and mental health program by Durham Alliance Outreach.
• Rainbow Faith and Freedom's new initiative linking GSAs in religion-based schools.
• Toronto People with AIDS Foundation's POZ community kitchen.
• The Pride and Remembrance Foundation, that organizes the run each year and disburses money to queer-serving organizations.

Hi friends!
I’m participating in the pride & remembrance run!
I need your support, as the run is raising funds for 5 incredible non-profit organizations that are doing amazing work in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The beneficiaries for this year’s run are: AndThenIWasFree, Durham Alliance Outreach, Rainbow Faith and Freedom, Toronto People With AIDS Foundation, and the Pride and Remembrance Foundation.
It’s fast and easy to donate, and tax receipts will be issued for every donation over $20. Every donation matters, as we try to reach our goal of raising $350,000 this year! The projects and initiatives that these organizations are developing will make a difference to so many members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and I would be so grateful for your donation.
