In honoring the selfless sacrifice of Opal Lee and great heart that is Clyde Hart, I hope the names of these Little Rock Central track athletes will stay in American history textbooks- these Immortal Nine: Melba Pattilo Beals, Minnijean Brown, Elizabeth Eckford, Ernest Green, Gloria Ray Karlmark, Carlotta Walls, Lanier Thelma Mothershed, Terrence Roberts, Jefferson Thomas.
