I initially signed up for my first Bridget Bunnies Walk as an ally ... little did I know a mere short weeks before the run I would be running for my first Angel. This walk allowed me a safe space to walk with others who understood what I was feeling and experiencing. It was a community I didn't know I needed. Now I walk in support every year to perhaps be that person someone else needs like I did that day.
Description
Bridget's Run for Pregnancy and Infant Loss is a 1km or 5km charity fun run, walk or hop in support of Bridget's Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation and individuals and families experiencing loss.
Funds raised by Bridget’s Run support grieving families in our region through:
- Bridget’s Bunnies Comfort Kits
- Little Loss Libraries
- Grief Greeting Cards
- the support of local pregnancy and infant loss efforts
