We're helping ensure no one endures pregnancy or infant loss alone
Bridget's Run is something very close to our hearts as we met the founders, Mat and Theresa, speaking about the loss of their baby Bridget, in a loss support group. This was the same year we said goodbye to our little us who we never got to meet. We lost Baby Drover in 2017 after a neural tube defect occurred where baby's skull did not form, and their chance of life outside the womb, was 0%. We had to make the inevitable decision to say goodbye and that pain lingers with Joey and I , and our families, every day🤍
Since the first year of Bridget's run, we have participated and raised money to provide other grieving families with comfort kits and hope to provide support along the worst time in any parent's life ♥️ thank you for helping us reach our goal!
Description
Bridget's Run for Pregnancy and Infant Loss is a 1km or 5km charity fun run, walk or hop in support of Bridget's Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation and individuals and families experiencing loss.
Funds raised by Bridget’s Run support grieving families in our region through:
- Bridget’s Bunnies Comfort Kits
- Little Loss Libraries
- Grief Greeting Cards
- the support of local pregnancy and infant loss efforts
