We're helping ensure no one endures pregnancy or infant loss alone
As many of our family and friends know, Bridgets Bunnies means the world to us. 7 years ago we learned that we had experienced a miscarriage. And as of last year, we experienced 3 more back to back.
Miscarriages can be such a hard thing to not only talk about with others, but connect with for support. We were surprised with a package labelled “ Bridget’s bunnies” and found a note from our dear friends Megan and Peter. I can’t put into words how I felt when opening the package and finding a true feeling of “ you’re not alone, here’s some help”. We have since connected with so many others who have lived the loss we have, and I’m truly forever grateful for my support teams on the sidelines. Without them, I would be an absolute wreck.
So, this year we are raising money once again for this amazing foundation and will be participating in the run ! If you have any amount to share, please donate. If you cannot donate , it’s no biggie! Bridget's Run for Pregnancy and Infant Loss is a 1km or 5km charity fun run, walk or hop in support of Bridget's Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation and individuals and families experiencing loss.
Funds raised by Bridget’s Run support grieving families in our region through:
- Bridget’s Bunnies Comfort Kits
- Little Loss Libraries
- Grief Greeting Cards
- the support of local pregnancy and infant loss efforts
