My Story…
I struggled with addiction for almost 7 years, although never homeless I came very close to being kicked out of my house when I was 21 years old. After getting sober, I made backpacks for the homeless at Christmas time for two back to back years. I raised approximately $4000 during those two years and was able to make over 50 backpacks that my family and I delivered to the people of Salvation Army and Siloam Mission on Christmas Eve. I’d like to be a part of helping give someone a warm meal or a present under the tree this year.
