My Story…
I’m honoured to run my first 5K ever to support the important work of Project Soniashnyk!
Project Soniashnyk (Project Sunflower) is a volunteer-run organization that hosts summer and winter recreational camps in Ukraine for children whose parents serve in the country’s Armed Forces or have fallen in the line of duty.
In addition to connecting with nature, team-building activities, and bonding with new friends over campfires, Project Soniashnyk also provides essential trauma therapy and mental health support for children impacted by the war.
The camps and psychological support services are offered at no expense to the families and are made possible by the generous support of BCU Foundation and public donations.
